Broomhill farm is run by Chris and Rosie Latham, and our young son Edward. The farm has been owned by Chris’s parents, Jane and Noel for over 35 years. Our small campsite started in 1988 and attracts a mixture of couples looking for a quiet escape and families seeking a spacious countryside getaway.
Broomhill is a working farm, with a herd of Hereford and Simmental suckler cows. This means that we breed our own calves from Jambo and Gareth, our two bulls, before raising them to maturity. If you stay during the summer months you will enjoy seeing the cattle grazing peacefully on the land next to the campsite, and may see a calf being born!
We are Farm Assured, with regular inspections, and part of the Countryside Stewardship Environmental Protection Scheme. We are passionate about the Environment and Sustainability and this is something we are constantly working to improve at Broomhill.
